Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Oversees the training of the staff. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Models good customer service and acts as a positive role model for excellent customer service practices.</li>\n <li>Trains and empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.</li>\n <li>Resolves customer complaints in a courteous, businesslike and timely manner.</li>\n <li>Provides DM or Store Manager with current and future hiring needs.</li>\n <li>Uses recruitment techniques to attract potential new employees.</li>\n <li>Utilizes all tools for selection process when hiring for the store.</li>\n <li>Ensures new employees are properly trained on all aspects of the restaurant.</li>\n <li>Checks food preparation and dining areas for cleanliness.</li>\n <li>Assists employees in greeting customers, taking orders and food preparation.</li>\n <li>Conducts regular meetings with Store Manager and employees to enhance communication and teamwork.</li>\n <li>Conducts regularly scheduled employee performance reviews and discussion.</li>\n <li>Prepares work schedule and posts in advance.</li>\n <li>Provides clear, consistent direction and expectation to employees.</li>\n <li>Establishes written job assignments.</li>\n <li>Ensures foodservice area, equipment, and utensil cleanliness meet company, Subway and health regulations standards.</li>\n <li>Ensures all equipment is maintained in good working order.</li>\n <li>Ensures all employees adhere to dress code, appearance, and health requirements.</li>\n <li>Provides timely motivational feedback and coaching to employees.</li>\n <li>Counsels and documents employees as necessary in a timely and appropriate manner.</li>\n <li>Monitors orders to insure in-stock efficiency.</li>\n <li>Reviews fresh food forecasting to ensure maximizing of sales while maintaining acceptable food cost.</li>\n <li>Trains and develops employees.</li>\n <li>Reviews management reports and takes appropriate action to insure balanced inventories. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Verifies deliveries to ensure accuracy of order.</li>\n <li>Ensures quality and freshness of products through proper rotation, ordering, and proper monitoring of codes and temperatures.</li>\n <li>Ensures accurate and visible pricing of products.</li>\n <li>Merchandises product according to guidelines or layout.</li>\n <li>Ensures products are made according to recipe and portion.</li>\n <li>Ensures proper signage and price point is displayed.</li>\n <li>Ensures promotional signage is posted timely.</li>\n <li>Promotes sales through suggestive selling and other approved means.</li>\n <li>Provides feedback to Store Manager, District Manager, Category Manager; and other personnel as appropriate on sales, food cost and profit opportunities. Supplies accurate competitive information to departments.</li>\n <li>Ensures appropriate state, local, or company guidelines and health regulations are followed (including required records).</li>\n <li>Adheres to government regulations (ADA, Environmental, Wage and Hour, EEO guidelines).</li>\n <li>Ensures the timely and accurate completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork (deli inventories, waste, price changes).</li>\n <li>Ensures all employees follow inventory control procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensures all safety and security procedures are followed.</li>\n <li>Controls labor within established guidelines.</li>\n <li>Manages food cost and other expenses within established guidelines.</li>\n <li>Manages sales, profits and expenses to budget.</li>\n <li>Maintains Subway Manual and ensures all training materials are accurate.</li>\n <li>Operates Subway within established hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li>\n <li>Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></em><em>GPM Investments, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment and personnel practices on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.
