text-decoration: underline\">NATURE OF WORK</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This is a part-time summer working position responsible for water safety as well as the operation, care, and maintenance of Swim Center Facilities. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Position is eligible for overtime pay (for lifeguards 16 and older).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lifeguards are not eligible for paid sick time due to being a seasonal position.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL JOB</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> FUNCTIONS</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Supervises patrons and enforces all facility rules.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs water rescues as needed in a variety of situations.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs basic first aid and CPR as needed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Inspects the facilities daily and reports all unsafe conditions.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs cleaning and basic maintenance on the facility and equipment.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assists as needed in start-up and closing down of all facilities.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assists in special event set-ups and operations.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintains regular and punctual attendance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Performs all other work assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
