Special functions may include recommending class scheduling, providing information for budget planning, advisement, student recruitment, and registration.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Oversee departments shared labs, tools and equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides instruction in automotive technology for all assigned students</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures, including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping requirements</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrates knowledge of current procedures in automotive technology</li>\r\n\t<li>Develops and follows approved curriculum standards and course syllabi</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitors student use of supplies, materials, and equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains classrooms and laboratories in accordance with approved classroom and lab management plans</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in marketing of courses to prospective students</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with course/program evaluation and continuous improvement and resolve quiz disputes when necessary</li>\r\n\t<li>Record attendance in learning management system</li>\r\n\t<li>Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process</li>\r\n\t<li>Review syllabus and learning outcomes the first night of class</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide sufficient time for students to complete course evaluations</li>\r\n\t<li>Do not release class early</li>\r\n\t<li>Do not leave class unattended</li>\r\n\t<li>Respond to student inquiries</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep Program Manager informed of any curriculum or student code of conduct issues</li>\r\n\t<li>Be familiar with all emergency procedures posted in the classroom</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain acceptable program quality and satisfaction scores</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
