    "description": "<h2>Nature and Scope</h2>\n<p>The Speech Language Pathologist is an experienced clinician who is fully competent to prevent, evaluate and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, aural rehabilitation and swallowing disorders for a wide variety of ages and diagnosis. Utilizing advanced skills and techniques to solve patient care needs in an accurate and efficient manner and provide Speech Therapy services to patients in the swing bed program and skilled nursing facility as prescribed and ordered by the attending physician.  Also, provide training and education to family/caregivers and work collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines.  </p>\n<h2>Location</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Some remote work may be available </li>\n <li>We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>Compensation Philosophy:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Compensation Range: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>$66.61 - $94.97 / hour </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Status / Shift Information</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Per Diem, non-benfited </li>\n <li>Estimating two-eight days working per month. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of a Speech Language Pathology curriculum with either a Masters or Doctorate degree accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).</li>\n <li>Must hold current California Speech Language Pathologist License.</li>\n <li>Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. </li>\n <li>Certified Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCCSLP-ASHA)</li>\n <li>Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) </li>\n <li>Compliant with state regulatory requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Compassionate and attentive to detail.</li>\n <li>Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems independently or know when to rely on others.</li>\n <li>Ability to develop, implement and adapt treatment programs.</li>\n <li>Ability to utilize sound clinical reasoning to determine appropriate patient interventions.</li>\n <li>Ability to write timely and accurate reports and correspondence at a professional level within the standards of the department.</li>\n <li>Ability to use a computer and software proficiently.</li>\n <li>Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.</li>\n <li>Timely and punctual in all aspects, responsibilities. </li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task responsibilities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits / Perks</h2>\n<p>Options offered to benefit eligible employees: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, and Vision Plans</li>\n <li>Paid days for continuing education, bereavement, and jury duty</li>\n <li>Retirement Plans with 3% company contribution</li>\n <li>Voluntary Life Insurance and Long Term Disability </li>\n <li>Considerable Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>And more!
