All employees, from the manufacturing department through to the sales team, work to truly understand the business of our clients.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Production Coordinator is responsible for reviewing customer orders and determining the most effective path to fulfillment. This includes evaluating inventory availability, creating manufacturing job orders, and managing outsourced production when necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate understands manufacturing workflows, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain coordination. They are comfortable working with both standard repeat products and newly developed custom items.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Customer Order Review &amp; Fulfillment</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Review incoming customer orders and determine the appropriate production planning path</li>\n<li>Verify availability inventory and determine determine fulfillment quantity gaps</li>\n<li>Release available orders for packing and shipment when inventory is sufficient</li>\n<li>Coordinate manufacturing activities when inventory is unavailable or insufficient</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production Planning &amp; Job Order Management</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Create manufacturing job orders and production routing steps for items requiring production</li>\n<li>Coordinate internal manufacturing operations for plastic and metal components</li>\n<li>Issue purchase orders to Bond, AWP’s sister company, for required wood components</li>\n<li>Coordinate painting operations with external paint vendors</li>\n<li>Monitor production timelines and prioritize work to meet customer delivery dates</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Capacity Planning &amp; Outsourcing</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate production capacity, order size, manufacturing lead times, and delivery deadlines</li>\n<li>Determine whether production can complete orders internally within required timelines</li>\n<li>Coordinate outsourced manufacturing when internal capacity or timing constraints require it</li>\n<li>Work with external component manufacturers and vendors to source complete items or individual components as needed</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">New Product Setup</span>\n<ul>\n<li>For products that have never been manufactured before:\n<ul>\n<li>Create new item numbers and Bill of Materials (BOMs) <br></li>\n<li>Define manufacturing processes and job routing steps, coordinating internal and external manufacturing resources as required </li>\n<li>Create and release production job orders<br></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing, production planning, inventory control, supply chain, or operations coordination</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows</li>\n<li>Experience with BOMs, job orders, routings, and inventory systems</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and communication abilities</li>\n<li>ERP/MRP system familiarity or experience <br></li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Strong ability to work in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experience (what will set you apart):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.</li>\n<li>Manufacturing scheduling or production planning</li>\n<li>Purchasing and vendor coordination</li>\n<li>Inventory management</li>\n<li>Contract manufacturing coordination</li>\n<li>Custom or made-to-order production environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time</li>\n<li>Inventory is effectively utilized before initiating production</li>\n<li>Manufacturing jobs are planned efficiently and clearly</li>\n<li>Vendors and outsourced partners are coordinated effectively</li>\n<li>New products are set up accurately in the system</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORK ENVIRONMENT:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday – Friday, flexible start time (8.5hr shift)</li>\n<li>Shared office space</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">COMPANY PERKS &amp; BENEFITS:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Flexible Start/Finish Times:</span> We understand the importance of work-life balance.
