This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the preparation of future educators through teaching, scholarship, and service within a collaborative and mission-driven School of Education.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Assistant/Associate Professor will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy education and contribute to program development, student success, and accreditation efforts. The role includes responsibilities in teaching, scholarship, advising, and service to the university and broader community.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Teaching &amp; Instruction</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy education (e.g., reading development, writing instruction, literacy assessment, intervention, content area literacy).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and revise curriculum grounded in current research, inclusive pedagogy, and evidence-based literacy practices (e.g., science of reading, structured literacy, and culturally responsive literacy instruction).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare teacher candidates to support diverse learners, including multilingual learners, in literacy development across content areas and PK-12 settings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supervise student research, internships, and field experiences.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain regular office hours and provide academic advising.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with edTPA preparation and student support, particularly in literacy-focused instructional planning and assessment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as chair or reader on doctoral committees.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Scholarship &amp;
