You’ll operate and apply advanced 3D scanning systems, produce high-quality CAD models from scan data, and support mechanical design projects from concept through fabrication. Day-to-day work spans digital measurement, reverse engineering, and design of tooling and hardware with direct impact on customer deliverables.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3D Scanning &amp; Optical Metrology</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate structured-light, laser, and photogrammetry scanners (Smarttech3D, ATOS, Hexagon, Leica) to capture detailed 3D geometry of components and assemblies</li>\n<li>Perform Digital Image Correlation (DIC) data capture on hardware and material tests</li>\n<li>Conduct dimensional inspections using Control X and GOM Inspect, applying GD&amp;T best practices to verify part conformance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CAD Modeling &amp; Reverse Engineering</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build parametric and surface 3D models in Geomagic Design X and Geomagic Wrap, working from scan data to reconstruct design intent or meet customer specifications</li>\n<li>Produce engineering drawings and system schematics from scan-derived models</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the design team to validate and refine models for downstream manufacturing use</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mechanical Design &amp; Fabrication Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design tooling, fixtures, prototype hardware, and system assemblies — from sketch through CAD to fabricated part</li>\n<li>Perform analyses to support and substantiate design approaches</li>\n<li>Develop and optimize inspection and scanning workflows tailored to customer hardware and requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline</li>\n<li>2–5+ years of experience in mechanical design, metrology, quality inspection, or 3D scanning applications</li>\n<li>Background in aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or industrial equipment is a strong plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills — Core</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience with 3D scanning technology (structured light, laser scanning, or photogrammetry)</li>\n<li>Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred; CATIA, NX, or similar also considered)</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of GD&amp;T and ability to read and create engineering drawings</li>\n<li>Experience with metrology or inspection software (Geomagic, PolyWorks, or similar)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills — Nice to Have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with reverse engineering workflows and scan-to-CAD processes</li>\n<li>Familiarity with automation or robotic scanning systems</li>\n<li>Basic programming or scripting (Python, MATLAB, or similar) for workflow automation</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication &amp; Collaboration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-starter who can manage projects independently and communicate progress clearly</li>\n<li>Comfortable working with customers on-site to understand requirements and demonstrate solutions</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve tough problems</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% for on-site support, demos, and customer engagement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Why ReLogic</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work on a wide variety of hardware — no two projects look the same</li>\n<li>Use industry-leading scanning and metrology equipment from day one</li>\n<li>A culture that values engineering, technical leadership, personal judgement, and autonomy</li>\n<li>Full benefits, competitive salary, and a collaborative team enviroment that takes the work seriously</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">In addition to completing the application in BambooHR, please send a brief note about your interest, and any portfolio or previous projects highlighting your capability to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">[email protected]</span>.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full-time salaried position with full benefits offered.
