GBO's mission is to provide the Securities Industry with superior operations processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. Securities Processing Operations provides support for certificates that represent full-service assets held by DTCC's participants in the name of Cede &amp; Co. Securities Processing also provides Custody Service where participants can outsource the handling and servicing of physical securities that are not or cannot be held through its regular depository service.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises day-to-day activities of a designated team. Ensures strict adherence to procedures and critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities. Directly manages people.</li>\n <li>Strong evaluator with focus on development of others to perform by providing ongoing feedback and by providing opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods. Identifies training gaps and implements appropriate actions to resolve.</li>\n <li>Identifies and mitigates risk by having knowledge of department controls with the ability to spot key opportunities and identify root cause issues.</li>\n <li>Maintains a steadfast focus on meeting the needs/requests of our internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly. Resolves exceptions, assists with complex inquiries.</li>\n <li>Understands and applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized business functions. Writes/maintains procedures and job aids. Identifies procedure gaps, updates procedures to fill gaps as directed.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings, and displays curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role.
