          "text": "<p>The ERP Data Specialist is responsible for the implementation of Engineering Changes on the Operations side of the business and the data integrity of all ERP Bill of Material &amp; Routing information along with streamlining the processes involved in creating and editing each of these sets of information. This role is also responsible for diagnosing &amp; solving issues related to BOM &amp; Routing data integrity that occur on the production floor and working jointly with our Engineering group on developing solid configuration management decisions. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.</p><p>Essential Job Duties&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Drive the implementation of Engineering Changes Notifications (ECNs) on the Operations side of the business by maintaining clear status of all ECNs and by holding all functional groups responsible for their tasks in the process and ensuring all stakeholders have all of crucial information relative to the ECNs&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work with Design Engineering in the development of ECNs to ensure robust Configuration Management practices are being followed on the relevant documentation&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop a deep understanding of how INFICON currently uses its existing ERP System (SAP) for all production floor BOM &amp; routing related characteristics such as variant configuration BOMs, sub-assemblies, phantoms, work centers, setup hours, machine &amp; labor hours, backflush, confirmations &amp; part consumptions, point-of-use inventory &amp; kanbans&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Play a key role in the roll-out of INFICON’s new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and help INFICON transition from its current mode where production routings are disconnected from the production work instructions to its future state where all production routings and work instructions will be tied together via configurations implemented by the ERP Data Specialists in conjunction with the Manufacturing Engineering team&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work to diagnose &amp; solve production floor issues related to BOMs &amp; Routings as well as cost-variances that the cost-accounting department identifies as tied to routing issues&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Responsible for the data-entry for all New Program Development (NPD) SAP BOM, Material Master &amp; Routing data and for implementing SAP data changes tied to ECNs for existing production product&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Help drive continuous improvement by making recommendations on improvements to INFICON’s Operation’s processes, most especially the ICN process&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Help to identify areas of improvement in INFICON’s SAP configurations and help to drive the proposed changes to the workload of INFICON’s Global SAP team&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work on generating custom queries in SAP to better understand the underlying data that drives INFICON’s business processes and analyze this data to make recommendations on improvements to the business decisions that rely on this information&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Work jointly on a near-daily basis with INFICON’s Design Engineering, Operations Engineering, Production, Planning, Logistics departments&#xa0;</p></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Behaviors&#xa0;</p><p>Behaviors necessary for this role include, but are not necessarily limited to:&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Detail-orientated individual who has a proven track record of problem solving and a resourceful mentality&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Individual who enjoys challenges and can articulate their thoughts and ideas effectively&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Independent and driven individual who is good at collaborating with others on projects and technical initiatives&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Establish credibility &amp; trust from all levels of the organization.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>INFICON provides a dynamic work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
