Details discussed during the interview.</strong></p>\n<p>The Truck Mechanic is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the maintenance and repair of various types of mobile equipment in the Company’s shop or on public roadways as necessary and maximizes equipment availability through the use of efficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs. Applicants will receive fair and impartial consideration without regard to race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic data, or other legally protected status.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide mechanical maintenance, including repairs and lubrication.</li>\n <li>Repair and maintain air brakes, vehicle air conditioning, and hydraulics.</li>\n <li>Repair and maintain truck electrical systems, i.e., 12v &/or 24 vdc.</li>\n <li>Report equipment breakdowns to generate work orders.</li>\n <li>Prepare work orders</li>\n <li>Keeps the equipment being operated, clean and safe</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb to heights of at least 50 feet frequently.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to speak clearly and listen attentively</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of a trucks electrical system.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of air brakes and their components.</li>\n <li>Mobile AC repair and their components.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of hydraulic components.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of the drive line and suspension.</li>\n <li>Able to work 12 hr. plus shifts as needed.</li>\n <li>Able to work nights and weekends as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma or Equivalent.</li>\n <li>At least 2 to 5 years’ experience as a mechanic working on commercial trucks.</li>\n <li>History of working safely</li>\n</ul>",
