Assess damage and issues, define and substantiate repairs&nbsp;</li><li>Verify preliminary analyses of design engineers</li><li>Suggest design changes to meet functional, strength, and weight requirements</li><li>Write stress reports, structural test plans and test results. Support compliance testing</li><li>Extract geometry from Creo (Pro/E) CAD models</li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience &amp; Education:</strong></p><ul><li>B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering</li><li>3+ years of directly applicable aircraft or similar weight critical structures, performing hand calculation stress analysis (per approved stress methods: Bruhn, Niu, etc.) and FE analysis (FEMAP/Nastran, Linear/Non-Linear analysis) on composite and metallic structures (primary and secondary)&nbsp;</li><li>2+ years using any high-level CAD system but Creo (Pro/E) is preferred</li><li>Strong structural intuition for light aircraft</li><li>Extremely detail oriented and weight sensitive</li><li>Practical &ndash; good Design for Manufacturing awareness</li><li>Strong communication skills and highly collaborative&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Experience:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with composite material qualification or testing</li><li>Composite part design, layup mold design and/or bonding fixture design</li><li>Experience with metrology, interpretation and /or operation</li><li>Evaluation of technical options against schedule and budgetary constraints</li><li>Aerospace product and industry experience/knowledge.
