    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Quality Engineer optimizes the quality of Bruno products by acting as a key liaison between engineering, manufacturing, assembly, test, & packaging operations, and supply chain management.</p>\n<p>Provides input to product documentation such as drawings, specifications, and inspection and testing methods and plans.</p>\n<p>Supports internal operations by educating employees, working to resolve product and process quality issues, and tracking, trending, & reporting performance data.</p>\n<p>Communicates quality plans, quality issues, and performance data to suppliers in support of new product introductions as well as serial production.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>QUALITY CONTROL AND ASSURANCE</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Define quality standards, create inspection plans, develop test methods</li>\n <li>Implement statistical process control methods and techniques to monitor and control manufacturing processes</li>\n <li>Inspect raw materials, components, assemblies, and processes, either personally or utilizing Quality Technicians, to ensure that requirements are met</li>\n <li>Ensure calibration of gages and measuring equipment is in compliance and records are maintained</li>\n <li>Track performance data, analyze results, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PROBLEM SOLVING AND IMPROVEMENT</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Investigate non-conformances to determine root cause, recommend corrective actions</li>\n <li>Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to address complex issues</li>\n <li>Implement corrective & preventive actions and verify outcomes – both internally and with suppliers</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>COLLABORATION AND COMPLIANCE</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product life cycle</li>\n <li>Interact with suppliers, including supplier visits, to facilitate effective communication</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and validation protocols</li>\n <li>Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, etc. in verbal and written format</li>\n <li>Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure the company remains compliant</li>\n <li>Identify gaps in the Quality Management System and initiate updates to address the gap</li>\n <li>Train others in quality processes, procedures, and tools</li>\n <li>Participate in interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new employees as appropriate</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, and a minimum of 3-years’ experience in Quality</li>\n <li>Certification to a recognized body of knowledge, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred</li>\n <li>Work experience in the relevant areas, along with increasing responsibilities over time</li>\n <li>Problem solving, corrections, corrective action and project management</li>\n <li>Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)</li>\n <li>Quality Management Systems, such as ISO-9001 or ISO-13485</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques, engineering drawing standards, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)</li>\n</ul>",
