The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Mine Supervisor (Load and Haul)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Mine Supervisor is responsible for managing the safe, productive, and efficient operation of haul truck fleets and loading units within the mining operation. This role provides frontline supervision to operators, coordinates with dispatch and maintenance, and ensures compliance with mine plans, safety standards, and operational targets.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Areas of Responsibility &amp; Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supervise daily load and haul operations including ore and waste movement according to shift targets and mine plan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure all haul truck and loader operators are working safely and efficiently while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assign and direct work for equipment operators based on production priorities and real-time conditions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance to address breakdowns and reduce downtime.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct pre-shift meetings, safety briefings, and job-specific risk assessments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with dispatch, drill and blast, and grade control teams to ensure continuous material flow.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Inspect pit areas, roads, dumps, and load points to ensure safety, proper road conditions, and optimal efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Track and report on haulage metrics, cycle times, payloads, and shift performance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify training needs and provide coaching to operators to improve performance and compliance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Participate in incident investigations and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Mine or Geology Engineering, or a technical diploma in Mine or Geology Engineering + relative years of work experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 5 years of mining experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong understanding of load and haul best practices, haul truck operations, and production efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team in a dynamic environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with dispatch and fleet management systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Good communication, organization, and decision-making abilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Basic computer proficiency.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Position based at the OKO Project site.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work Schedule – 14 days on 7 days Off</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Compensation Package:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Permanent, full-time role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Competitive Salary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>",
