As a Senior Project Controls Engineer at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the engineer behind project performance—driving cost, schedule, and risk visibility across mission-critical initiatives. You’ll partner with project leaders to keep everything on track, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals, all while mentoring others and shaping best practices along the way.</p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the development and maintenance of project cost and schedule baselines, using tools like Primavera and Cobra to track performance and forecast outcomes. </li>\n <li>Drive project reporting by coordinating and leading status updates, analyzing earned value metrics, and identifying risks and opportunities early. </li>\n <li>Develop guidelines and desktop procedures.</li>\n <li>Mentor team members on cost and schedule control practices.</li>\n <li>Support risk management efforts to ensure projects stay aligned with scope, budget, and timelines in a high-performance environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of science degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 8 years of project controls experience required.</li>\n <li>Expertise with Cobra or similar cost processing tools.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of earned value management.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of cost engineering and cost control principles.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of risk management processes and associated tools.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. </li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. </li>\n <li>Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
