The successful candidate will work within multidisciplinary teams on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, contributing significantly to the field of geotechnical engineering. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop both technical expertise and project management skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.</p><p>Projects may include the design and rehabilitation of roads, buildings, hydraulic structures, slope stabilization, dams, soil dynamics, and temporary and permanent retaining structures. You will have the opportunity to work with both public and private sector clients.           "text": "<ul><li>A degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Post-graduate degree is considered an asset.&#xa0;</li><li><strong><u>Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience</u></strong>, with a proven record of managing complex studies and leading medium- to large-scale projects.</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario, or eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario&#xa0;(PEO<u>)</u> <strong><u>within 3 months</u></strong>.</li><li>Eligibility for registration in other Canadian provinces is considered an asset.</li><li>Proficiency with geotechnical software for slope stability, settlement, seepage, and finite element analysis.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Strong leadership, mentorship, and client relationship skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project status and technical information to clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in English (spoken and written) required; French is considered an asset.</li><li>Solid understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and construction techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with Ontario Provincial Standards (OPS), MTO guidelines, and municipal design standards.</li></ul><p>At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
