We are searching for a<strong> Senior Operations Accountant</strong> to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role: </strong></p>\n<p>As a Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting, you will support manufacturing and supply chain operations while helping advance Finance’s most valuable behaviors (MVBs) including: intellectual curiosity, problem solving, and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Serve as a key finance partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Business Unit Finance teams</p></li>\n <li><p>Own and execute core operational accounting activities while continuously improving how the work gets done</p></li>\n <li><p>Apply technology, automation, and data-driven thinking to reduce manual effort, improve controls, and increase insight</p></li>\n <li><p>Identify trends, explain drivers, and translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the details and stepping back to redesign processes for scale, efficiency, and reliability. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will love it here if… </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You put safety first, always </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You listen, learn, and evolve </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goals </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You believe in treating all people with respect, operating ethically, and growing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You are committed to improving our impact on local communities and creating positive experiences </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We need you to have: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>BA/BS degree in Accounting. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>5+ years of related professional accounting experience with journal entries. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience with large automated financial systems such as SAP or JDE. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Proficient in MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong analytical and organizational skills. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Exercise sound judgment with the ability to take calculated risks and make risk/return recommendations. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to be discreet with confidential information. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Icing on the cake: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>MBA or other advanced degree. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>CPA Certification. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures used in the CPG industry. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> Want to know more?
