    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><strong>Passero Associates&rsquo; Albany</strong><strong>, NY office</strong> has an excellent career opportunity for a <strong>Structural Project Engineer</strong> to join our Structural Department and work alongside a team of talented and outstanding professionals. Typical projects involve structural design and analysis on a diverse range of structural projects including K-12, commercial, municipal, institutional, and multi-family residential, utilizing every major building material in regions across the nation. &nbsp;The candidate we seek must excel as a team player and work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and client personnel.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develops solutions for small to mid-scale engineering projects of low to high complexity, from existing building retrofit to new construction.</li><li>Develops innovative design solutions and engineering production methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and production of work product.</li><li>Analyzes and designs structures and structural components using structural software, although conceptualizing design by hand prior to input in software is encouraged.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.</li><li>Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct.</li><li>Develops professional skills through professional organization involvement, project assignments, reading, formal education and seminars.</li><li>Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology.</li><li>Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications/Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>BS in Civil Engineering (with a Structural Emphasis), or related degree, from an ABET accredited program (master&rsquo;s degree preferred)</li><li>4-7 years of experience in structural design&nbsp;</li><li>REVIT experience, required</li><li>PE Required</li><li>Working knowledge of International Building Code, AISC Steel Code, ACI Code and ASCE 7 code, required</li><li>Involvement in multi-disciplined project coordination, a plus</li><li>Experience with RAM, RISA, ENERCALC or other structural software packages, a plus</li><li>Familiarity with seismic design</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication and client service skills&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications</li><li>Personal vehicle and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul><p><strong>Offering a Competitive Salary &amp; Benefits Package.</strong></p><p>EOE/AA - Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/ Veteran. <strong>Passero Associates is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to better serve our clients, our people, and the community.</strong></p><p><strong>Passero Associates is not able to sponsor visas.</strong></p><p><em>Recognized nationally by the Zweig Group as one of the &ldquo;Best Firms to Work For,&rdquo; Passero Associates is a growing multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing planning, engineering, architectural design, structural, surveying, sustainability, program management, design-build, construction administration and inspection services throughout ten offices in the northeastern, midwestern, and southeastern United States.</em></p></div></div></div></div>\n",
