Other duties may be assigned.</p><p>Inspect and test machinery and equipment as required to ensure proper function.</p><p>Experience in electromechanical equipment diagnosis and repair. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, PLC integration. Must understand integration between systems. Use MaintMizer to open, close work orders, document repairs made. Must be good communicator and keep production informed of progress. Top level maintenance position.</p><p>Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.</p><p>Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.</p><p>Replaces and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.</p><p>Mastery of reading blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics and other technical materials.</p><p>Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.</p><p>Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.</p><p>Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment and programmable controllers.</p><p>Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.</p><p>Operates cuttings torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.</p><p>Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.</p><p>Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.</p><p>Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.</p><p>Logs time and materials allocations to ensure accurate records.</p><p>Design and fabricate machine and equipment modifications as needed to achieve customer satisfaction.</p><p>&nbsp;Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.</p><p>Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the ISO 14001 systems.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school in maintenance or related field and 6 years technical experience in industrial maintenance position or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate a mastery of at least four (4) of the essential maintenance skills.</p><p>Able to follow both written and verbal instruction.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS &nbsp;<br></strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. &nbsp;The employee frequently is required to walk. &nbsp;The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. &nbsp;The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. &nbsp;Must be able to read and understand English.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &nbsp;<br></strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. &nbsp;the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. &nbsp;The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. &nbsp;The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>ATC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO)</em></strong></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
