If you're passionate about real estate and eager to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you! </p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in preparing financial proformas to evaluate proposed land acquisitions.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with the development team to establish budgets and schedules for proformas.</li>\n <li>Collaborate across departments to assess home construction costs and buyer preferences.</li>\n <li>Analyze due diligence information for potential investments.</li>\n <li>Extract and interpret data from sources such as MLS, company databases, Metrostudy, LandVision, Census Bureau, and other websites.</li>\n <li>Prepare pre-acquisition investment briefs and supporting materials.</li>\n <li>Maintain financial proformas post-acquisition to track community performance and identify enhancements.</li>\n <li>Develop detailed Land Packages with supporting data for submission to the Corporate Land Committee.</li>\n <li>Prepare follow-up analysis and transaction forms to facilitate funds transfers for acquisitions.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the annual Market Strategy report and support ad hoc projects as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Real Estate) </li>\n <li>1-3 years of experience in land acquisition, transactional work, or entitlement/forward planning in real estate development preferred.</li>\n <li>Technical and analytical proficiency.</li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Competence in Microsoft Suite (at least intermediate level).</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.</li>\n <li>A track record of meeting deadlines.</li>\n <li>Market analysis experience is an advantage.</li>\n <li>Experience with mapping software (ArcGIS, Google Earth, LandVision) is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time, 8-hour workdays with flexibility for overtime as needed.</li>\n <li>The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. </li>\n <li>Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Ability to move about work location.</li>\n <li>Ability to drive/travel as needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to walk up and down stairs.</li>\n <li>Ability to observe details at close range and communicate information so others will understand.</li>\n <li>Ability to transport and move up to 20 lbs and move as needed (<em>for roles in Construction/Customer Service/IT/Land/Marketing/Sales/Studio</em>).  <strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Periodically works in outdoor weather conditions (<em>for roles in Construction/Customer Service/Land/Sales</em>).</li>\n <li>On-site position at the KB Home Division Office. #LI-onsite</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Details and Benefits</h2>KB Home offers a competitive base pay.
