This is an on-call position. Must have good communication skills with all levels of staff and management. Previous experience caring for seniors and managing care staff is a requirement. This position will be helping our dementia residents. Love for seniors is a must!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Previous experience caring for seniors, managing care staff and able to be on-call as needed, are requirements.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This is a morning shift position 7:00-3:00</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Full time</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Duties include but not limited to: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain employee files </li>\n <li>Review shift supervisor checklists</li>\n <li>Cover open shifts as needed, including call offs. Keep on-call phone</li>\n <li>Assist residents with care: dressing, bathing and toileting </li>\n <li>Follow up on issues, review 24 hours logs –corrective actions for med errors, absences, etc. </li>\n <li>Assess any care complaints </li>\n <li>Payroll – review for missed punches, missed lunches etc. and follow up</li>\n <li>Enter shift pick-ups and shift trades </li>\n <li>Create schedules for staff and prepare shift assignments</li>\n <li>Schedule and interview applicants </li>\n <li>Conduct QA audits, review Incident reports/med errors and put interventions/training in place – involve nurse as necessary </li>\n <li>Meet with each new admit to discuss needs and expectations, audit of med waiver and private pay charting, updates to med waiver counselors, med cart audit every other week </li>\n <li>Order clinical supplies </li>\n <li>Conduct monthly care audit on all resident assistants, conduct monthly med pass audit on all med tech’s, </li>\n <li>Ensure government forms are completed and correct</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement</li>\n <li>Medical, dental and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Employee recognition events</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Requirements needed:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience managing a senior living facility (2 years).
