This business partner will learn PSP distribution operations and how it fits into the overall strategic plan for PSP which is not just a distributor but also a retailer, wholesaler, and a franchisor.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities/Qualifications</h2>\n<p>This position will lead staffing, on-boarding, compensation, benefits, team member relations, performance management, safety and organizational development programs including team member engagement.</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with the distribution center leadership team to execute a staffing and organizational development plan to support the growth of the business.</li>\n <li>Manage and develop HR staff that help support the human resouces needs for the business and the team members.</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary contact for team member relations activities including conflict resolution, policy compliance and fostering open communication.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and training to managers, supervisors and team members in the DC regarding PSP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal guidelines.</li>\n <li>Support the South Carolina Pet Depot safety to promote a safe work environment.</li>\n <li>Support the annual team member engagement plan for the South Carolina DC.</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource for HR programs or projects to complete ROI analysis, project plans, process development, program implementation and ongoing administration.</li>\n <li>Collect, analyze, and report on data to support Human Resources metrics.</li>\n <li>Prepare team member communications regarding compensation, benefits, engagement, and company policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in business with a Human Resources focus, or master’s degree in human resources </li>\n <li>1+ years of HR generalist experience or strong internship experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws</li>\n <li>Strong service orientation to support business needs</li>\n <li>Ability to be flexible and successfully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS CoPilot</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-SQ1</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>About Company</h2>\n<p>Pet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet.
