  "externalDescription": " Production Planner II We are looking for a Production Planner to join the Ducommun team to prepare daily work schedules, track work progress, update and communicate project critical path schedules, and advise leadership of needed adjustments to daily work activities. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. Acts as liaison to departments to assist in providing a tactical and projected flow of required materials. Develops metrics to measure manufacturing performance to schedule (lead time, schedule attainment, and schedule adherence) and works with production to resolve issues in a timely manner. Expedite, schedule and process OSV orders. Conducts various gap and postmortem analyses between schedules and actuals, identifying key drivers for discussion in a future state. Focus on continuous improvement within scope of responsibilities for developing, improving, and implementing sound materials management practices. Supper accuracy of internal logistics movement of critical work. Ensure ITAR compliance and control through secured and coded correspondence and designated/approved communication portals. Supporting Audits (internal and external). Performs other duties as assigned including leading projects and participation in project committees. ",
