We are seeking the very best and most talented to join our team - help us take on challenges, develop vision solutions, and innovate and design the infrastructure of the future that will transform the world!</strong></p><p>We are currently seeking an Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer with 0-4 years of experience to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>The Fire Protection Engineer would be presented with the following tasks under direct supervision of senior staff:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Fire protection systems design and specification.&nbsp;</li><li>Fire alarm and mass notification systems design and specification.&nbsp;</li><li>Life safety and building code analysis and consulting.&nbsp;</li><li>Smoke control systems design.&nbsp;</li><li>Development of performance-based life safety and fire protection features.&nbsp;</li><li>Contract shop submittal review and field inspections.&nbsp;</li><li>The engineer would also be asked to interface with clients, engineers, and architects of varying technical abilities.&nbsp;</li></ul><br><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from an ABET accredited program (Master degree preferred)</li><li>0 - 4 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Basic knowledge of building and NFPA codes.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to learn CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit.&nbsp;</li><li>U.S. Citizenship Required</li><li>Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate level of security clearance (required) for some positions.&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to take part in light travel.</li><li>EIT or PE license in the state of Maryland preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Required Submissions:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Resume</li><li>A copy of current, or most recent, school transcript (If you are applying via a 3rd party site that does not allow attachments, please email transcript to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-fr-linked=\"true\" href=\"mailto:[email protected]\">[email protected]</a></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
