Occupational Therapist - Astoria (Broadway)

This role is ideal for therapists who have developed a solid foundation in hand therapy during their clinical education and are eager to build on that experience with mentorship, advanced training, and hands-on practice. Therapists are responsible for setting clear expectations for your patients’ clinical progress while providing evidence-based, patient-centered care for individuals with conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Therapists are expected to execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service, because a passion for your craft is turned into real impacts when you deliver on your promises. Qualifications: Hold a license (or be license eligible) to practice Occupational or Physical Therapy in the State of New York Completed a Level II fieldwork placement or outpatient rotation in hand therapy OR equivalent experience during clinical education If transitioning from another practice area, demonstrate a commitment to hand therapy through continuing education coursework or certifications in upper extremity rehabilitation Are excited about working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with the support of a collaborative team What We Offer: We know that exceptional patient service can only be achieved when our team is well cared for.
