    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;The Levy Group of Companies is seeking&nbsp;Equipment/Machine Operators to work at our&nbsp;Levy Evertz Technology &nbsp;location in Calvert, Alabama.</p><p>The &nbsp;Equipment/Machine Operators&nbsp;perform all functions as it pertains to processing steel slab surfaces as required by mill surface requirements.&nbsp;</p><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div>The Heavy Equipment Operators perform all functions as it pertains to operating heavy off-road mobile equipment.</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Shift:</strong> Rotating</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div><ul><li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability</li><li>Year round, non-weather dependent employment</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>The Equipment/Machine Operator will:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 72px;\"><li><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Visually inspect slab surface as they are being processed to ensure defects are being removed</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Process each individual slab as required by mill instructions</span></p></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Complete Daily Inspection forms</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Enter sequence number into panel view for data collection</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Aware of any mechanical/electrical malfunctions of equipment and report&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Performs all machine grinding activities within SOP procedures.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Cleaning work area as as necessary</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Work closely with Shift Maintenance Technician</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Shoveling swarf from work areas</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Other duties as directed by supervisor</span></li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div>The ideal candidate will have:</div><div><ul><li>A team and safety oriented mentality&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs</li><li>Tolerate noise and heat in heavy industrial setting</li><li>Basic Mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Knowledge of basic computers</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Excel</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to sit/stand/shovel/push/pull for extended period of time</li><li>Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>To Apply</strong></div><div>Please submit your resume.
