TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Is responsible for the administrative support and day to day operations of the TMH Child Care Centers. </li>\n <li>Assists in administrative functions required to maintain day to day operations of the department. </li>\n <li>Shall be available to advise and assist. </li>\n <li>Possesses knowledge of early childhood development and clerical and administrative skills to perform Center operations. </li>\n <li>Assists in supervising staff and working with patrons of the Center.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Child Care Director</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Child Care Specialists </li>\n <li>Child Care Providers</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years classroom and supervisory experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directly related supervisory experience as Director or Assistant Director. </li>\n <li>Other training or special skills include strong communication, human relations, and organizational skills. </li>\n <li>Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>45 hours FL Department of Children and Families (DCF) training including passing the competency examination, Child Development Associate (CDA) and Director’s Credential issued by DCF.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
