This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves turning insights into action. We are seeking a highly experienced professional responsible for ensuring that construction projects align with FDOT plans, specifications, and codes. They manage and coordinate lower-level inspectors, conduct inspections, and maintain records. Specifically, they monitor on-site construction activities, inspect materials, and ensure conformance with the project's requirements. They also play a crucial role in monitoring and inspecting Work Zone Traffic Control Plans, including alternate plans.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Apply through this site or send resume to </strong><strong>[email protected]</strong><strong>.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspecting Construction Work: Ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and codes.</li>\n <li>Coordinating and Managing Inspectors: Supervising and directing lower-level inspectors.</li>\n <li>Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of daily operations and significant events.</li>\n <li>Monitoring Work Zone Traffic Control: Ensuring compliance with FDOT's Work Zone Traffic Control Plan.</li>\n <li>Inspecting Materials: Verifying that materials entering the work site meet project requirements.</li>\n <li>Performing Inspections: Conducting field inspections and maintaining records.</li>\n <li>Performing technical assignments: field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests</li>\n <li>Project Administration Manual: Familiarity with and adherence to the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have Construction Inspection experience in Florida and preferably Roadway or Bridge construction experience.</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. Driver’s License.</li>\n <li>CTQP Final Estimates Level I</li>\n <li>CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I</li>\n <li>CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)</li>\n <li>CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I</li>\n <li>CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II</li>\n <li>CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I</li>\n <li>CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II</li>\n <li>CTQP Pile Driving Inspection</li>\n <li>CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection</li>\n <li>FDOT Intermediate MOT</li>\n <li>IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I</li>\n <li>Nuclear Radiation Safety</li>\n <li>Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors</li>\n <li>Preferred FDOT experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
