You&rsquo;ll learn different areas of the whey operation while working closely with experienced operators and supervisors. No prior whey experience is required&mdash;we provide training.&nbsp;</p><hr><h3>What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3><ul><li>Learn and assist in multiple whey processing roles while training on the job</li><li>Support operators during equipment cleaning and sanitation processes</li><li>Help prepare, clean, and maintain processing equipment following standard procedures</li><li>Monitor basic process conditions during start-up, shutdown, and cleaning cycles</li><li>Perform routine cleaning and simple preventative maintenance tasks</li><li>Move finished whey and lactose products to designated storage areas</li><li>Safely handle and work with cleaning chemicals while wearing the required protective equipment</li><li>Complete production and quality paperwork accurately</li><li>Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures at all times</li><li>Communicate with team leads and supervisors to keep operations running safely and smoothly</li><li>Attend required safety, quality, and job training sessions</li></ul><hr><h3>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3><ul><li>Team-oriented with a willingness to learn</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to problem-solve and follow instructions</li><li>Initiative and reliability</li></ul><p><em>This position does not supervise other employees.</em></p><hr><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Food manufacturing facility</li><li>Exposure to noise, moving equipment, vibration, and cleaning chemicals</li><li>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required</li></ul><hr><h3>Schedule &amp; Hours</h3><ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Training schedule: <strong>5:00 a.m. &ndash; 5:00 p.m.</strong>, on an alternating repeating schedule</li><li>After training, this role is expected to move to <strong>night shift</strong>, <strong>5:00 p.m. &ndash; 5:00 a.m.</strong>, on an alternating repeating schedule</li><li>Schedule may vary based on production needs</li></ul><hr><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Physical job duties will be outlined in a separate functional job description</li></ul><hr><h3>Education &amp; Experience</h3><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Must be able to maintain forklift certification</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li><li>Food manufacturing experience</li><li>Bilingual in English/Spanish</li></ul><hr><h3>Travel</h3><ul><li>No travel required</li></ul><hr><h3>Other Information</h3><p>This job description outlines the general nature of the role.
