This position is day shift, as needed Monday through Friday.<br><br><p><strong>A bit about the position:</strong></p><p>Handles instruments, supplies, assisting in circulating and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Monitors conditions in the operating room and constantly assesses the needs of the patient and surgical team.</p><p><strong>What you can expect in the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.</li><li>Set up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.</li><li>Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedure.</li><li>Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.</li><li>Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.</li><li>Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room.</li><li>Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient.</li></ul><p><strong>What we are looking for in a candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>Plastics in a private office setting preferred.</li><li>Surgical Technologist Certification.</li><li>Confident and skilled.</li><li>Knowledge in sterilization and processing.</li><li>At leas 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
