At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” – Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Expect</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for project controls management, including but not limited to budget management, risk management, subcontractor/vendor billing and payment management.</li>\n <li>Responsible for development of aggressive schedules for projects with variables such as project type(s), areas and seasonal start dates.</li>\n <li>Responsible for supporting cost estimates for projects in the industrial arena.</li>\n <li>Responsible for mentoring and/or training other project team members.</li>\n <li>Responsible for working within boundaries of various contracting methods such as lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management and fee-based construction. Must understand legal aspects and implications of contractual language.</li>\n <li>Responsible for developing and maintaining harmonious relationships with owners, co-workers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Responsible for preparing various reports to successfully manage the project(s), such as monthly financial reports, progress analysis/schedules, billings, and status reports. Organize and maintain job files to ensure continuity of workflow. Submit verbal and written reports on project status to management.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for estimating efforts relative to the project(s) and proposal preparation efforts. Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety and quality programs on site.</li>\n <li>Responsible for managing project controls teammates and ensuring all protocols and procedures are followed according to Gray’s standard operating procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execution responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>The project cost work breakdown structure and job cost set up</li>\n   <li>Develop project invoice schedule of values</li>\n   <li>Coordinate subcontractor prequalification enrollment</li>\n   <li>Manage the project cost tracking log and ensure alignment with financial mgmt. tools</li>\n   <li>Manage subcontract and vendor invoices along with payment applications</li>\n   <li>Prepare project change request and customer change orders and review with project management team</li>\n   <li>Prepare commitment change orders and review with project management team</li>\n   <li>Prepare subcontract and PO requisition</li>\n   <li>Trend project cost and report deviations from plan</li>\n   <li>Prepare monthly general conditions projections and tracking log based on actuals and manpower curve</li>\n   <li>Complete project cost segregation for project close out</li>\n   <li>Manage project tax incentives and reporting where applicable</li>\n   <li>Prepare projects for close-out including review of commitments, cost, and contract values</li>\n   <li>Provide support for job cost audits and project-specific cost reporting requirements</li>\n   <li>Prepare bi-weekly project financial reports</li>\n   <li>Develop, update and monitor job progress, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting to ensure that construction of project parallels with schedule.</li>\n   <li>Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation.</li>\n   <li>Supports project manager in reviewing and approving invoices and change orders.</li>\n   <li>Assist in the preparation of various reports to assist in the successful management of the project(s), such as: monthly financial reports, progress analysis/schedules, billings and status reports.</li>\n   <li>Assist in the organization and maintenance of job files to ensure continuity of work flow. Submit verbal and written reports on project status to supervisor.</li>\n   <li>Communicate effectively with customer, direct consultants and subcontractors on the project(s).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Other job duties may be assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who We Want</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The new team member is required to have five to seven years of experience in construction management, accounting or project controls. </li>\n <li>Preference will be given to candidates with experience leading Project Controls efforts for projects relevant to large industrial construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime will be required.
