This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.<strong>  This is for the B Shift! Our assemblies consistently set the standard because our people consistently raise the bar.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Piston Automotive?</strong></p>\n<p>Competitive Wages, Paid Holidays & Vacation, Medical & Rx Plans, Dental & Vision Plans, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Life & Disability Coverage, 401K with Company Match, Tuition Reimbursement , Vehicle and Product Discounts</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Educates employees on plant safety requirements and ensures all policies and procedures are being followed when working on the plant floor.</li>\n <li>Reviews daily production requirements and aligns manpower to run assembly operations safely and in the most efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Ensures all production employees are trained in accordance with and following standard work instructions.</li>\n <li>Manages, motivates, and leads production employees to ensure production requirements are met within quality standards and in accordance with customer delivery schedules.</li>\n <li>Conducts shift meetings to review daily activity and to ensure appropriate communications take place between shifts.</li>\n <li>Coaches, counsels, and administers corrective actions to production employees in the enforcement of plant policies, procedures, and plant rules.</li>\n <li>Monitors equipment and progress to schedule attainment and resolves any issues.</li>\n <li>Completes daily safety, production, and quality reports, as required.</li>\n <li>Ensures employees time and attendance are accurate in the system</li>\n <li>Drives continuous improvement initiatives regarding all plant operations.</li>\n <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Four years of experience as a Production Supervisor or related experience</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree (B. A.)
