    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div>POSITION SUMMARY<p>This role combines advanced welding expertise (MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core) with leadership responsibilities, supporting production goals and mentoring welders in safety, technique, and productivity.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Lead and coordinate daily welding activities for assigned team or shift</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform advanced welding tasks on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials using multiple processes</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to guide team execution</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications and codes (AWS, ASME, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Train and mentor welders on techniques, safety practices, and equipment use</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Monitor productivity and ensure adherence to production schedules</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Collaborate with supervisors, fitters, and quality inspectors to resolve issues</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Document production and quality metrics as required</li></ul><p>All other duties assigned.</p><p>OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">To ensure Kelvion&rsquo;s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework</li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES)&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding processes</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred</li></ul><p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">High school diploma or GED</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">5+ years of welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
