    "requisitionDescription": "<p class=\"msonormal\">POSITION SUMMARY:</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Instructs group classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive\nenvironment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with\nYMCA policies and procedures.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes,\nas directed by the supervisor, to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Answers questions from members to support them in achieving\ntheir goals related to healthy living. Maintains working knowledge of wellness\nand trends to provide effective information and support to members.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Builds effective, authentic relationships with members;\nhelps members connect with each other and the YMCA.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergency\nsituations.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Required certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED, national\ncertification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction or YMCA\nFoundations of Group Exercise certification.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Certification in areas of expertise.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 90 days of\nhire.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">At least one year of experience teaching group wellness\nclasses preferred.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Ability to conduct classes and activities.</p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\">Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position; including\nleading class, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.</p>\n",
