Your Impact: Within the first few months, you’d have established a rhythm of communication across logistics, engineering, and quality teams, while taking full ownership of your assigned supplier portfolio and identifying immediate "cost out" opportunities. In a year, you’ll be proud to say you’ve transformed your supplier base into a high-performing, resilient network that has successfully navigated product relocations and capacity shifts, all while hitting rigorous KPI targets for availability, quality, and margin improvement. Why Article? Article has has been working with Mexican and US furniture manufacturers since 2021. We currently have a team spread across Canada, US, Vietnam and Mexico. As a Particle (people of Article), you will have a high level of autonomy to solve challenging, meaningful problems the best way you can. That means you’re trusted to explore solutions you believe will work best (you’re the expert, after all). You’ll do all this while growing your skills within a company that is redefining the furniture industry. Build & Scale the Network: Identify, qualify, and onboard high-performing upholstery suppliers to build a resilient and competitive global supply base. Lead Product Initiatives: Manage the end-to-end execution of product developments and relocations using a disciplined project management approach. Monitor & Optimize Performance: Rigorously track supplier KPIs and tactical capacity, intervening with mitigation strategies to ensure 100% product availability and quality. Ensure Integrity: Execute all procurement activities with a commitment to strict compliance, ethical standards, and value-chain transparency. A Strategic Thinker: You don't just see a vendor; you see a value chain. You use SWOT analysis and manufacturing insights to shape long-term sourcing strategies. A Fact-Based Negotiator: You back up your arguments with data. You understand the nuances of raw material costs and market trends to ensure fair and competitive pricing. A Problem Solver: When disruptions happen, you’re already two steps ahead with alternative actions to secure supply and minimize impact. A Cross-Functional Collaborator: You thrive in the middle of the action, coordinating effortlessly between technical engineers, logistics experts, and external partners. Detail-Oriented & Ethical: You take pride in "Article Way" performance and hold yourself—and your partners—to the highest standards of professional conduct.
