This position may be tenure track or non-tenure track, depending upon the candidate’s qualifications. &nbsp;Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications at the time of hiring, but a minimum of associate professor qualifications is required. The Department Chair will be responsible for providing leadership in faculty development, overseeing faculty performance and evaluation, and managing faculty scheduling. This includes supporting faculty in their research and scholarship endeavors, promoting opportunities for scholarly activity, and guiding faculty in the pursuit of rank advancement. The Department Chair will also ensure alignment of faculty efforts with program goals, facilitate curriculum development and improvement in coordination with the program director, and oversee the assessment and evaluation of faculty contributions to the program.
