Responsible for improving speed, consistency, supplier performance, and margin protection in a high-mix, fast-paced industrial environment while building processes, supplier strategies, and team capabilities that reduce reliance on spot buying over time.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Performance Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and develop a team of Tactical Buyers, Expeditors, and the Quotes function.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish clear priorities, workload balancing, and accountability across the team.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive a high-performance culture focused on urgency, ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coach and mentor team members to increase strategic thinking and procurement capabilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop succession plans and career development opportunities for team members.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Procurement Operations &amp; Execution Discipline</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure rapid and reliable execution of RFQs, quotes, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implement and enforce service level expectations for RFQ turnaround, PO cycle times, and supplier responsiveness.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish daily and weekly operating cadences, including KPI reviews, workload management, and escalation processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Improve visibility and control of procurement activities across the organization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Quotes-to-Execution Alignment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure strong alignment between quoting and purchasing activities to support profitability and execution readiness.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Improve communication and coordination between the Quotes team and Procurement team.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reduce delays, rework, pricing inconsistencies, and missed commitments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support commercial objectives by balancing customer responsiveness with procurement effectiveness.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Spot Buy Management &amp; Optimization</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and prioritize all spot-buy activities to support customer and operational requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Improve responsiveness while reducing firefighting through structured processes and accountability.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify recurring purchasing patterns and opportunities for standardization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and implement strategies to reduce transactional purchasing and increase procurement efficiency.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Strategic Sourcing Transformation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive the transition from transactional purchasing to strategic sourcing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, preferred supplier programs, blanket agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain a pipeline of sourcing opportunities based on spend analysis, purchasing trends, and business requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with key stakeholders to improve procurement planning and reduce reactive purchasing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead sourcing initiatives that improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and optimize total cost of ownership.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Indirect Procurement &amp; Sourcing Transformation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide indirect procurement strategy across categories such as MRO, operating supplies, facilities, packaging, professional services, IT, and other indirect spending areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities to standardize purchasing practices, consolidate suppliers, leverage spend, and improve total cost of ownership.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish sourcing strategies, preferred supplier programs, and commercial agreements that improve service, quality, and cost performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and other functional leaders to improve procurement governance and increase spend under management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop category management roadmaps and sourcing pipelines to transition indirect procurement from decentralized, transactional buying to a disciplined, strategic procurement model.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver measurable savings, supplier performance improvements, risk reduction, and process efficiencies across indirect spend categories.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Supplier Performance &amp;
