answering questions and responding to requests. </li>\n <li>Ensures the Master Sanitation Schedule and GMP practices are adhered to by the department. </li>\n <li>Maintains safety and quality by ensuring organizational standards are met. </li>\n <li>Under direction of Plant Management, continuously improve work flow by monitoring steps of the process, observing critical control points, monitoring resources, and soliciting ideas from team members. </li>\n <li>Communicate with all departments and necessary business units regarding production needs. </li>\n <li>Ensures the product meets established production standards. </li>\n <li>Follows and maintains an environment of food and feed safety in compliance with rules and regulations, as applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Education and Experience:\n  <ul>\n   <li>High School Diploma, or equivalent, with 5+ years experience in a production environment OR</li>\n   <li>Associates or Bachelors Degree with 2 years experience in a production environment </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Previous Supervisor experience required. </li>\n <li> Excellent understanding of equipment in order to manage equipment and production needs. </li>\n <li>Ability to lead, train, and motivate employees. </li>\n <li>Adhere to the tenants of servant leadership. </li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimum supervision and a high level of accountability for their work. </li>\n <li>Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures, solve basic problems, and utilize cognitive reasoning and ability to use formulas to calculate proper mixtures. </li>\n <li>Must be reliable and have good attendance. </li>\n <li>Mechanical aptitude. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills. </li>\n <li>Time management and prioritization skills are needed. </li>\n <li>Ability to inspect raw materials and finished goods. </li>\n <li>Detailed-oriented. </li>\n <li>Must be able to see, read and write numbers and letters. </li>\n <li>Must be able to perform advanced math and accurately measure/weigh. </li>\n <li>Must have advanced computer knowledge. </li>\n <li>Perform computer entry and complete required documentation. </li>\n <li>Must have advanced problem solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>We are an equal opportunity employer.
