Completion of a plumbing certification or degree program from a technical school is strongly preferred.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> At least four years of hands-on experience in plumbing and facilities maintenance, including knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.</li><li><strong>Licenses &amp; Certifications:</strong> A valid Utah driver&#39;s license is required. Must obtain forklift certification within the first few months of employment. A journeyman license is preferred.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Proficiency in using hand and power tools, technical manuals, and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project), and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).</li><li><strong>Problem-</strong><strong>Solving Abilities:</strong> Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to diagnose and resolve maintenance and plumbing issues.</li><li><strong>Communication &amp; Teamwork:</strong> Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other technicians, contractors, and campus personnel.</li><li><strong>Organizational Abilities:</strong> Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.</li><li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> A sharp eye for identifying repair needs and performing maintenance accurately and safely.
