We’re seeking a Behavior Analyst (BA) to join our exceptional Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EI) program, where you’ll make a direct and lasting impact in the lives of young children with autism. You will provide high quality clinical care to an assigned classroom of approximately 8 clients, supported by RBTs, and focusing on individualized treatment. You will have onsite opportunities to integrate parents into their child’s teaching interventions. You will benefit from ongoing supervision and support from an experience BCBA and consultation with a BCBA-D. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conducts functional behavior assessments and analyses; designs, implements, and monitors behavior intervention plans Develops safety plans and crisis intervention plans as needed Collaborates and communicates with families, internal team members, and external stakeholders such as PH-MCO Care Managers, Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, and Case Managers Provides ongoing training, coaching, and support to Behavior Health Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to ensure fidelity in implementing treatment plans and programming Oversees implementation of behavior programs and monitors progress Conducts evaluations of interventions to guide treatment decisions Provides clinical supervision in accordance with BACB and IBHS standards Supports quality assurance, utilization reviews, and related monitoring activities Uses relevant tools to support staff development and monitor progress toward certification and professional expectations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position provides clinical supervision to all Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Technicians in accordance with BACB supervisory standards and IBHS regulatory requirements. This role does not include direct-report supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The following positions or frequent movements are typical of the job: sitting, walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, kneeling, and crawling, often for extended periods of the workday. Assignment may require the ability to physically move clients during possible physical interventions in order to maintain a safe learning environment.
The position requires that an individual be able to learn new tasks quickly and effectively. Job requirements may change frequently. The ability to understand and carry out detailed, involved, instructions is mandatory. The incumbent must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed, when needed to conduct organizational business. Subject to inside environmental conditions.
EXPECTED SCHEDULE
This is a full-time on-site position. Days and hours of the workweek are program dependent based on service delivery and program operation hours. Services are provided in the clinic setting with an occasional need to provide service in the home or community setting. When those occasional needs arise, availability may be required outside of typical program operating hours. This position may be expected to deliver services or trainings as needed in line with parent customer and staff development needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a related service field Current Behavior Analyst Certification and Behavior Specialist Licensure Completion of Vista’s crisis intervention training (upon hire) Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder Knowledge and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis programming and methodology Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications Ability to implement, train, and coach staff in service delivery and crisis prevention techniques KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience with Early Start Denver Model, Precision Teaching, and/or PEAK programming preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Professionalism, flexibility, tact, and the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
