    "requisitionDescription": "<div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>The <strong>Floor Care Technician</strong> supports a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff in our long-term care community. This role is responsible for the proper cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all flooring surfaces while following infection control standards and ensuring resident safety at all times.</p><h3>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Clean, maintain, and restore floors throughout resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, therapy spaces, and common areas</li><li>Strip, wax, seal, and buff floors according to facility schedules and procedures</li><li>Perform carpet cleaning, shampooing, and spot treatment</li><li>Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers, burnishers, and extractors</li><li>Use cleaning chemicals safely, following SDS guidelines and infection prevention protocols</li><li>Place caution signage and take extra safety precautions in resident-occupied areas</li><li>Coordinate work schedules to minimize disruption to residents and clinical staff</li><li>Maintain floor care equipment and report service or repair needs</li><li>Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, sanitation standards, and facility policies</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Prior floor care or environmental services experience preferred (healthcare or long-term care a plus)</li><li>Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and equipment</li><li>Understanding of infection control principles and resident safety practices</li><li>Ability to work respectfully around elderly residents and staff</li><li>Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and push equipment for extended periods</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Exposure to cleaning chemicals (PPE provided)</li></ul><h3>Why Work With Us</h3><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees)</li><li>Paid time off&nbsp;</li><li>Retirement plan&nbsp;</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents&rsquo; lives</li></ul></div>\n",
