It is understood that this list is intended to be representative of the functions that may reasonably be expected of the position. It is not intended to be comprehensive.&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ensure compliance and adherence to all B Frank Joy, OSHA and project specific safety requirements by all crew members by embodying <strong>Safety Leadership</strong>. &nbsp;Positively promote the &ldquo;see something, say something attitude&rdquo;.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Supervision of the crews in their performance and construction of the projects in strict compliance with schedules, budgets the contract documents.</li></ul><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Promote and implement better methods of production and performance in all aspects of the work. &nbsp;Continuously challenge the foreman to look for leaner and more efficient ways of completing the tasks assigned to them.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Assign and coordinate foreman field and project assignments in line with the needs of the project and the division.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ensure optimal and efficient use of all available resources to include crew, equipment, supplies, and materials</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Establish and maintain a culture of good housekeeping, to include the projects, company vehicles and property.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Draw from experience to manage, supervise, and produce quality work that meets or exceeds productivity goals.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Promote and ensure that foreman adhere to a &ldquo;no defects construction goal&rdquo; by ensuring projects standards are understood and achieved to prevent rework.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Work closely with Project Managers to make necessary labor and resource adjustments.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Understand, review and communicate project schedule requirements with assigned foreman. &nbsp;Prepare and distribute three week look ahead schedules to ensure project goals are achieved and conflicts do not occur.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Provide fair and consistent coaching of foremen, leading by example at all times.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Develop and maintain strong client relationships through constant communications and serving as the go-to person. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Actively engaged in promoting and adhering to BFJ&rsquo;s Core Values.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">May perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong>:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Four (4) year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Minimum of eight years supervisory experience in similar construction technology</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">A solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Technology is a huge part of the evolving construction industry. &nbsp;Superintendents will need to have a good sense of Microsoft based programs, access databases, Apple/ Android products and other technologies.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Evaluate information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Express ideas clearly</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Work with numbers accurately to review budgets, materials and time schedules</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and personal responsibility for growth</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to see and promote &ldquo;the big picture&rdquo;.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited, lifting materials and equipment (up to 70 pounds unassisted), standing, climbing, walking, or using hands to operate/handle tools.
