Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a safe work environment. </li>\n <li>Work with maintenance and SMS/SDI operational groups to improve equipment reliability and uptime. </li>\n <li>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance. </li>\n <li>Inspect electrical and mechanical equipment. </li>\n <li>Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment. </li>\n <li>Operating mobile equipment, troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems and components, fluid power systems, mechanical power transmission systems, water systems, pneumatic systems, material handling systems, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Required:</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An excellent safety and attendance record. </li>\n <li>Previous electrical maintenance experience. Mechanical maintenance experience a plus. </li>\n <li>Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and systems, as well as read blueprints. </li>\n <li>Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and water systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.</strong></em></p>",
