    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher– Off Road HET (Journeyperson)</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Sureway</strong> <strong>Construction</strong> is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Local - Work Sureway!</strong></p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full Time, Permanent</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week</p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Shop: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>We Offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Tool/Boot Allowance</li>\n <li>Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching</li>\n <li>Air Exchange Units</li>\n <li>Specialty Dealer Training Provided with Certification</li>\n <li>38 Bay State of the Art Shop with dedicated Engine, Transmission and Machining Bays</li>\n <li>Specific Manufacturer Tooling with Software and Diagnostics</li>\n <li><strong>Sureway is a Repair Facility, not a component exchange shop; providing our technicians with a sense of ownership</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full Complement of Hand Tools</li>\n <li>Personal Reliable Vehicle</li>\n <li>CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-employment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements</li>\n <li>Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation</li>\n <li>Fitness to Work Assessment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher  Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician HET with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent</li>\n <li>Must have between five (5) and ten (10) years' Journeyperson experience</li>\n <li>Off Road HDM experience is REQUIRED</li>\n <li>Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED</li>\n <li>Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial</li>\n <li>Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics</li>\n <li>Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, and in a timely manner, resulting in proper function and availability.</li>\n <li>Perform preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment according to company standards.</li>\n <li>Oversee, supervise, and manage the day to day operations of our heavy equipment technicians in the field.</li>\n <li>Dispatching of 10-12 field heavy equipment technicians and welders to ensure schedules and timelines are met.</li>\n <li>Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture</li>\n <li>This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Sureway Construction Group</strong> adheres to employment equity and equal opportunity programs.
