    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(This is a re-advertisement; previous applicants need not apply)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services </span>is looking for a Dietitian for the Community of La Ronge to provide consultations, counselling and education services to the LLRIB membership and communities in order to improve and protect the nutritional health of their members. The Dietitian will also provide assessments and intervention including the development, implementation and evaluation of nutritional care plans. We provide accessible, high quality health services and programs. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute care needs and the determinants of health.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the position: </span>Complete an assessment to evaluate client’s health needs and diet; Counsel clients on nutrition and healthy eating habits; Develop meal plans; Providing on-going evaluation of the effects of meal plans and making changes as needed; Develop and deliver education sessions on topics related to food and nutrition; Deliver and facilitate nutrition programs; Provide written reports to document client progress; Other duties as assigned by the Home Care Manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with the Home Care Manager &amp; Diabetes Nurse Educator to develop maintain nutrition programs;</li>\n<li>Complete assessments to client health needs and diet;</li>\n<li>Counsel clients on nutrition &amp; healthy eating habits;</li>\n<li>Develop meal plans, taking both cost &amp; client’s preferences into account;</li>\n<li>Promote healthy eating by better nutrition by speaking to groups about diet, nutrition &amp; relationship between good eating habits &amp; preventing or managing specific diseases;</li>\n<li>Maintains liaison with Community &amp; other related Agencies Organizations, Teachers, Physicians &amp; Hospitals;</li>\n<li>Providing written reports to document client progress;</li>\n<li>Performs other related duties assigned;</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor Degree in Dietetics, Food &amp; Nutrition, Food System Management, Clinical Nutrition or related field;</li>\n<li>Must be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Saskatchewan Dietetic Association &amp; or the Dieticians of Canada;</li>\n<li>Experience in delivering &amp; facilitating nutritional programs;</li>\n<li>Strong verbal &amp; written communications skills;</li>\n<li>Strong computer skills;</li>\n<li>Ability to work with little or no supervision;\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work with key stakeholders &amp; to work as a team player</li>\n<li>Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license &amp; be able to travel extensively;</li>\n</ul>",
