This role focuses on maintaining healthy, attractive lawns while ensuring all applications are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with state regulations and company standards.</p>\n<p>The Fertilizer Technician works independently on assigned routes, interacts professionally with clients, maintains detailed service records, and takes pride in quality workmanship and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Fertilizer &amp; Chemical Applications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other turf care treatments according to labels, schedules, and best practices</li>\n<li>Calculate proper application rates and accurately mix chemicals</li>\n<li>Operate and calibrate application equipment including Z-sprayers, push sprayers, aerators, and related equipment</li>\n<li>Apply mosquito and perimeter pest control treatments as needed</li>\n<li>Monitor turf and landscape health and identify weeds, insects, disease, or nutrient deficiencies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Safety, Compliance &amp; Environmental Care</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow all safety practices and regulations according to OSHA, MIOSHA, and the Michigan Department of Agriculture</li>\n<li>Use proper PPE and follow correct handling, transporting, storage, and disposal procedures for chemicals</li>\n<li>Monitor weather conditions and adjust applications as needed to ensure effectiveness and compliance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Reporting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and submit daily reports and service logs of chemical applications</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements</li>\n<li>Communicate findings, recommendations, and service results to supervisors and clients</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License including:\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial Core</li>\n<li>3A, 3B</li>\n<li>Category 6, 7F, and 7A</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Experience calculating proper application rates for fertilizers and chemicals</li>\n<li>Experience operating fertilizer and spray equipment such as Z-sprayers, aerators, and push sprayers</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (chauffeur’s license preferred)</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
