Description

For more than 40 years, Pool Pros Mgmt has been a trusted leader in commercial swimming pool, spa, water feature, and aquatic facility management throughout Florida. We support hotels, resorts, condominiums, municipalities, country clubs, and commercial aquatic facilities with professional maintenance, compliance, operational support, and customer service. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious professionals to join our Aquatic Facilities Support Team. Position Summary The Aquatic Facilities Support Professional supports our customers and field operations teams by maintaining clean, organized, professional, and inspection-ready aquatic environments. Working as part of a team of two or more professionals, this position is responsible for equipment room cleanliness, filter maintenance, facility inspections, reporting, facility presentation standards, and overall aquatic infrastructure appearance. The majority of work is performed within commercial pool equipment rooms and mechanical areas, where attention to cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation directly contributes to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and Florida Department of Health (FDOH) compliance readiness. This is a full-time position and an essential part of our operational success. The condition of our equipment rooms, facility presentation, documentation, and overall attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory readiness. This position also serves as an excellent entry point into the aquatics industry and may provide opportunities for advancement into pool operations, inspections, repairs, construction, compliance, management, and other specialized roles based upon performance, qualifications, and business needs. Because this position directly impacts public health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance, it is considered a safety-sensitive position. Essential Functions Maintain clean, organized, professional, and inspection-ready equipment rooms and aquatic support areas in support of company standards and FDOH compliance readiness. Perform scheduled filter cleaning and preventative housekeeping activities. Clean aquatic equipment, plumbing systems, pumps, filters, feeders, controllers, and related equipment to maintain professional appearance and cleanliness standards. Inspect exposed plumbing, equipment pads, directional flow markings, and support systems for cleanliness, organization, visibility, and overall presentation in support of operational and regulatory readiness. Paint, maintain, and restore Florida code-required directional flow arrows, equipment identification markings, and related operational signage as directed. Assist with maintaining safe, clean, and organized chemical storage and containment areas. Complete assigned inspections, photographs, reports, and documentation accurately and timely in accordance with company standards. Support pool operators, technicians, inspectors, and management personnel with operational tasks and special projects. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and professional condition. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Provide professional and courteous interactions with customers, property staff, and coworkers. Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy company vehicle insurance requirements. Ability to communicate effectively in English sufficient to safely perform assigned duties and complete required documentation. Previous experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are welcome but not required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability. Willingness to learn commercial pool equipment, filtration systems, aquatic facility operations, and applicable safety procedures. Essential Physical & Environmental Requirements The requirements described below are considered essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities to enable performance of these essential functions unless such accommodation would create an undue hardship, compromise workplace safety, or otherwise be prohibited by law. Candidates must be able to work indoor and outdoors year-round in Florida conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sunlight, rain, and changing weather conditions; safely work around pools, spas, chemicals, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems; walk, stand, bend, climb, kneel, and work on uneven surfaces; repeatedly enter and exit vehicles; wear required personal protective equipment; accurately interpret inspection findings, warning labels, directional markings, and safety information; and safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move equipment, tools, supplies, filter elements, and materials weighing up to 100 pounds, individually or with assistance when appropriate. Additional Requirements Work schedules may vary based on operational needs and may include weekends, holidays, overtime, emergency response assignments, and adjusted schedules. Employment may be contingent upon lawful pre-employment screening, including employment eligibility verification, motor vehicle record review, background screening, drug testing where permitted by law, and verification of work history. Employees must maintain all training requirements and driving qualifications required by the Company for continued employment. Equal Employment Opportunity & Disclaimer Pool Pros Mgmt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law. This job description is intended to describe the general nature of the position and is not an exhaustive list of duties or requirements. Pool Pros Mgmt reserves the right to modify duties, qualifications, reporting relationships, and operational requirements at any time, with or without notice, consistent with applicable law. Nothing contained herein creates an employment contract, guarantee of employment, or promise of future employment. Employment with Pool Pros Mgmt is at-will unless otherwise required by law or a written agreement executed by an authorized company representative.
