The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of design experience and a professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In this role, you will work under the direction of a project architect and/or project manager and will often coordinate technical design aspects with a multi-disciplinary team of designers and engineers as well as prepare presentation and design drawings and details.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Key responsibilities include:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Design &amp; Technical Execution</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and coordinate architectural design solutions from concept through construction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Apply advanced design knowledge to develop creative, functional, and sustainable solutions with the client&rsquo;s goals and budget in mind.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Practice Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with a team of design professionals to win and successfully execute projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrate strong ethics, teamwork, and client relationship management.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Project Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver projects that meet contractual obligations, schedule, and financial goals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure project quality and client satisfaction throughout all phases.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Programming &amp; Analysis (Pre-Design)</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct on-site field work within active industrial and aviation facilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize Autodesk Revit and 3-D point cloud scanning technology to develop accurate BIM models.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research and understand the impacts of building codes, accessibility requirements, client-driven standards such as FM Global compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop recommendations on project feasibility under the guidance of a licensed Architect.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Project Planning &amp; Design (Schematic Design)</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lay out building designs, review codes and regulations, and coordinate plans with consultants and engineers, working closely with a project architect.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Project Development &amp; Documentation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documents, including plans, details, schedules, and specifications, for permitting and bidding.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with, and provide architectural support for, mechanical process, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and structural engineering work.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Construction Administration &amp; Evaluation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in on-site construction administration, including meetings with clients, contractors, and building officials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support punch lists, RFIs, and project closeout activities under the supervision of an Architect.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Skills/Education/Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">4+ years of substantial experience developing architectural details and providing planning and design support during design development.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience gained through full-time employment under the supervision of a licensed Architect.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture).</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>$80,000 - $95,000/year*&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Learn about our comprehensive <a href=\"https://www.cscos.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Comprehensive-Benefits_2024_rev.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Benefits</a></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHO WE ARE:</strong> C&amp;S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
