S/he provides clinical instruction to students, follows pain management protocols, and maintains adequate records and supplies. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Performs CT and Radiology procedures and diagnostic evaluations of patient, which include a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed exposure parameters for CT or Radiology procedures according to patient age, mental, and physical status.</li><li>Assesses patient needs relevant to CT or Radiology procedures.</li><li>Stocks rooms with adequate supplies and maintains an orderly working area.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains adequate records as directed to ensure safety, proper &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;care of patients, and diagnostic quality of CT or Radiology examinations. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains records and performs Quality Assurance/ Quality Control checks &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;as needed.</li><li>Consistently uses radiation protection measures such as time, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;collimation, and shielding.</li><li>Follows hospital policy regarding pain management and use of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;restraints for patients.</li><li>Demonstrates working knowledge of the PACS and MediTech systems.</li><li>Provides clinical instruction to students, and precepts new techs.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
