We have an exciting opportunity for you!</p>\n<p>Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Industrial Hygienist at our Carlin&nbsp;operation. The successful candidate will provide leadership and be a resource in health-related matters, develop systems and policies, analyze, train, and promote health and safety awareness and loss prevention for employees and contractors.</p>\n<p>At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop, evaluate, and coordinate IH initiatives by following Nevada Gold Mines Occupational Health and Hygiene process.</li>\n <li>Implement, evaluate and maintain IH standards, policies, and programs</li>\n <li>Develop and instruct on IH and MSHA topics with all employees including new hire, annual refresher and toolbox training sessions as required</li>\n <li>Develop sampling plans and conduct sampling</li>\n <li>Collect, maintain, and analyze data using various methods of inferential statistics</li>\n <li>Maintain records, develop reports, and engage stakeholders in all matters related to industrial hygiene with a strong directive to control occupational health hazards</li>\n <li>Manage Cority (formerly Medgate), Managing iNet Gas Monitoring Stations, and other IH computer applications</li>\n <li>Direct work of Industrial Hygiene Technicians</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field&nbsp;<strong>strongly preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Strong Microsoft Office skills&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Strong communication and public speaking skills&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li>\n <li>Previous mining experience, preferably in an underground setting&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Previous experience operating Cority(Medgate) EHS software system&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Knowledge of State and MSHA regulations (particularly Part 62) and the ability to work cooperatively with regulatory agencies&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment&nbsp;<strong>preferred</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Can Offer You&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A comprehensive compensation package including&nbsp;a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!</li>\n <li>Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.</li>\n <li>Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.</li>\n <li>Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.</li>\n <li>Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-TC1</p>",
