We are dedicated to removing barriers to treatment and offering compassionate, effective care to individuals and families in need.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Counselor plays a key role in supporting clients through assessments, case management, counseling, and crisis intervention.As a Counselor, you will work directly with clients, families, and community partners to facilitate continuity of care and positive treatment outcomes.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client Counseling &amp; Case Management</span>: Provide individual counseling sessions, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with the client’s needs and recovery goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Crisis Intervention</span>: Manage crisis situations effectively, using de-escalation techniques and professional standards to support clients.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Referral Coordination</span>: Refer clients to appropriate mental health resources or higher levels of care as needed, facilitating connections with community services.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client Advocacy</span>: Advocate for clients with various stakeholders, including courts, schools, treatment centers, and other services to coordinate care and monitor progress.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Reporting</span>: Maintain precise and up-to-date client records, including assessments, case notes, and treatment summaries, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with program standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of programs and client services.</li>\n<li>Other tasks as assigned to support program objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span>: Bachelors or Masters degree required.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span>: 1-2 years of relevant experience in mental health and/or addiction counseling.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills</span>:<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Competency in diagnosing and treating mental health and/or substance use disorders.</li>\n<li>Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.</li>\n<li>Organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensing Requirements</span>:</p>\n<p>Candidates must hold at least one of the following active licenses:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LICDC, LCDC III, LCDC II</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li>\n<li>Capability to work in a facility with multiple levels without mechanical transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company-sponsored life insurance at no cost to employee.</li>\n<li>Medical, Vision and Dental insurance.</li>\n</ul>",
